Handcrafted Pink Maple Burl and Rosewood Chess Set

Handcrafted by Italian artisans this chess set is made from the finest Pink Maple Burl wood with Rosewood and Maple squares. Fifteen coats of high gloss lacquer enhance the grain and natural wood tones. At each end pull out drawers fitted with brass handles and lined with soft simulated suede contain the wooden playing pieces. The pieces made from Indian Rosewood and Boxwood are double weighted and the king is 3 ½” in height.  The playing squares are 1 ½” in size. A stunning centre piece for any room.
